If we have a girl...

...she will come home from the hospital in these shoes!!

heežlaržižous [he-lair-ee-uhs] - noun: extremely funny, completely soft, fully functional high heel crib shoes for babies.
Not intended for walking (heel will collapse with weight).
Not intended to harm children in any way.
WARNING: May cause extreme smiling and hysterical laughter when in use (this is completely normal).

Yesterday, our family spent the morning out at the hospital where Rob's Dad had heart surgery. In total, the Dr did three cardiac stents and one balloon, which was a more than expected, but not near as bad as feared. Twelve years ago, Fish underwent 6 by-passes, but hasn't had any trouble since. It wasn't until a stress test a couple weeks ago came back positive, that Dr were alerted to another potential problem. I'm happy to say that he's home now, sore and sleepy, but well on his way to recovery.

Me and some girl friends went to see the much anticipated movie Friday night and it was GREAT! Very predictable, but how could it not have been. Rumor has it, there's already a sequel in the works!!

Our little garden

My okra plants have started to peep up through the soil!! They're not as big as shown in the picture- they're basically just starting to bud out, but I'm still excited. My tomatoes are doing good too (even though I forgot the water the entire garden for about 5 days!!). Still no sign of the onions though. Hopefully I'll be able to get the rest of my veggies planted Saturday.

I've also got to get my flowers planted on the back porch. I went with pink and white this year- colors a little out of character for me, but given that the lady at Home Depot said they were the hardest plants to kill- it was the most obvious choice!
