Beau Rivage

I have spring fever (even though it's 40 degrees outside). Ever since we got back from NOLA I've been ready to go somewhere-- anywhere -- just as long as it was away from Tuscaloosa and out from my routine!! This Saturday I have to work a trade show in Biloxi, MS, which means Rob and I get to spend the weekend at the Beau Rivage! Sad to say, there won't be any good concerts or performances while we're there, but he food is always outstanding. Last year, when I worked the show, I wasn't too impressed with the progress the city had made after hurricane Katrina. There were completely demolished buildings and gas stations right across the street from the beach, and there wasn't much to do once I got outside of my hotel. Maybe this trip will be better-- actually I know it will be better this time, if only for the fact that my hubby is getting to go this time!

Max is sporting a new hair cut these days... after a little altercation with Jack at Dad and Dianne's last week. The lesson definitely taught him an 18 pound sheltie is no match for a 120 pound lab. The good news is that despite the drains, staples and stitches, he's fine, and frisky as ever. The bad news is, the little spit-fire is going stir-crazy in the house.
