Jackson opted out of the Santa photo this year, but Madison LOVED it. She talked about the "Jolly Old Fella" of at least a week before jumping in his lap and giving him a knuckle bump!

Banana Bread
Ingredients:
1 package (18 1/4 ounces) plain yellow cake mix
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 ripe medium-size bananas, mashed (about 1 cup)
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3 large eggs
3/4 cup milk
Direntions:
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 13-by-9-inch baking pan with shortening, and dust with flour. Shake out excess flour.
2. Place cake mix, brown sugar and cinnamon in a large mixing bowl. Add mashed bananas, 1 cup water, oil, and eggs. Blend with an electric mixer on low speed 1 minute. Stop mixer and scrape down side of bowl with rubber spatula. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed until well blended, scraping side again if needed. Pour into prepared pan, and place on center rack of oven.
3. Bake until top is lightly browned and a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, about 40 minutes. Remove from oven, and cool on a wire rack. Enjoy!
Time: About 1 hour
Yield: 16 servings
I'm playing blogger catch up so pardon the multiple topics. It's been a busy last couple months!
A couple weekends ago, Rob and I went to Gatlinburg, TN for the football game. We stayed in a great cottage at the Oak Haven Resort and Spa and had a wonderful time watching The Tide beat Tennessee! After the game, my Mom came back to Tuscaloosa and my Sister and Miles drove up from New Orleans to stay a couple days. Madison loved having everyone home! She always wants to call Granna and LaLa so she was thrilled to actually be able to play with them!
I'm also in the middle of working all the Pharmacy's PR for the Christmas Open House on Nov 20th (more on that to come later!!) Grab a copy of Kid's Life Magazine or the Northport Gazette to see Madison's "Oh so cute" photos in the advertisements!
The other big design project I just tackled was a mailer to go out next week and in-store flyer. Here's the front side of the mailer...
That's all the time I have to ramble. If I want to get a shower today I gotta do it during nap time and that's almost over! Sorry Rob, it looks like I won't be shaving my legs!
