After a week of struggling with the baby gate at the top of the stair, my Dad came over last night and finished the installation. I say finished mostly because I had pieces strone all over the upstairs hall, but to be more accurate, it actually took him over an hour, and I'm pretty sure he had to undo everything I had already "started."
