The Rodeo

Ok, so we didn't clean out closets, catch up on laundry or do any yard work like I had planned, instead we opted to go to the lake with friends, try out the new Mexican restaurant and go to the rodeo. It was much more fun! Here are the pictures I promised. Have a great week.

The Colburns, Guys and Coakleys all went to Gulf Shores for a couple days to enjoy some fun in the sun. Jackson and Pappa Mike got up early in the morning to fish in the surf, and Rob and Jackson went crabbing every night after dark. Wednesday we spent the day at the water park. They have a new attraction that basically simulates surfing- Jackson LOVED it- and he was good at it too. Of course we played putt putt, rode go carts and ate seafood until we thought we would pop. Danielle and I even did a little shopping at the Warf. We are completely worn out, but we had so much fun!

Our weekend is already filling up...Gran, Papa and Ben are coming for dinner to celebrate some belated birthdays, and I've got to clean out the last two closets upstairs. Speaking of upstairs, I finally found the piece of furniture I wanted for the playroom. It's taken me a while, but I can finally say that room is finished! Saturday night we're going to dinner with friends and then we're headed to the rodeo. I'll post some pictures.
