Operation Christmas Child

It was a busy weekend but today we packed our shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child. This is one of my favorite Christmas projects! We always do three boxes, a girl box for Madison, a boy box for Jackson, and a baby box for our invetro babies we didn't carry to term. One day I'd really like to know where the baby boxes ended up.

First Bike!

No more diaper bags

No more diaper bags. I now have a cute, pink, monogrammed backpack hanging by the back door. It's a small difference that indicates a major shift in our lives this fall.  Madison started "school" at Trinity Presbyterian this month and she loves it. She goes 4 days a week from 8:30-1pm, and while she's there, I'm working at the drug store in the gift gallery.  On Wednesday mornings we've started going to Community Bible Study, and while last week was the first week, I'm really excited about the adult study and the children's curriculum. Thursday is a busy day too because Madison started a gymnastics class at Tumbling Tides.

I'm enjoying this new stage. I've found a whole new closet of "work clothes" I haven't really worn in 3+ years and I've pulled all my heels and clutches off the back shelf. I'm having conversations with people that don't include a color, shape or animal souns! It's going to be a great year!
